Here you will find details on the transfer of your data to Google Health. Further information on handling can be found in our FAQs.

Evaluations and statements about your fertility

Please note that although Google Health receives some data from trackle, it does not receive trackle’s evaluation results. This means that statements about your fertility that you find in the Google Health app were not determined by trackle and trackle therefore has no influence on these statements.

If you do not wish to become pregnant, you must continue to follow the daily evaluation in the trackle app on the trackle app home page.

trackle only uses trackle data

When you connect Google Health to your trackle app, your data will only be transferred from the trackle app to Google Health. No data will be transferred from Google Health to the trackle app.

The reason for this is that, as an approved contraceptive, trackle may only use data whose origin and reliability have been validated. trackle will not use data from other sources that can be shared via Google Health to determine your fertility, as the origin and accuracy of this data cannot be verified.

Data Mapping

The data categories offered by Google Health do not always correspond to the categories used in the symptothermal method and therefore do not match the data provided by trackle. trackle maps its data to Google Health as follows:

Bleeding

Bleeding that you have entered into the trackle app and that trackle has determined to be part of a period will be transferred to Google Health as a period with the corresponding bleeding intensity.

Bleeding that you have entered into the trackle app and that trackle has not determined to be part of a period will be transferred to Google Health as ‘intermenstrual bleeding’.

Cervical Mucus

Unlike the symptothermal method (STM), Google Health only provides categories for visible cervical mucus when recording cervical mucus. Google Health does not provide categories for the STM categories d, Ø and m. Therefore, the cervical mucus data you have recorded in the trackle app is transferred to Apple Health as follows:

trackle Category Google Health Category
d, Ø, m
Not transferred (Google does not offer a suitable category for this)
S
„creamy“
S+
„egg-white“
Intercourse

The information about sexual intercourse that you have entered into the trackle app is transferred to Google Health as ‘sexual activity’. The information “protected” or ‘unprotected’ is also transferred.

Synchronisation

  • Only data from the trackle app is transferred to the Google Health app.
  • No data is transferred from the Google Health app to the trackle app
  • If you change data that has been transferred from trackle to Google Health in Google Health, the changed value in Google Health will no longer be updated by synchronisation from trackle to Google Health.
  • Only data from the last 200 days is transferred to Google Health.
If an entry or measurement in the trackle app is more than 200 days old, this entry/measurement will not be transferred to Google Health. You may need to add this value manually in Google Health.
