  • Can I use trackle for birth control if I work shifts?

    During the lactation period, initially there is no cycle; it takes some time until the first ovulation occurs again (depending on the release of the hormone prolactin). During this time you have to assume that you are fertile.

    But during this time you can use trackle to see when your cycle returns to normal. 

    For the evaluation (and also for the forecasts of the next cycle), trackle needs a complete cycle (that is, from the first day of menstruation to the first day of the next menstruation with an ovulation measured and recognized by trackle in between) .

  • Can I use trackle immediately after stopping the pill?

    After stopping hormonal contraceptives like the pill, spiral, or hormone patch, your body needs time to "catch up" again, and that takes different amounts of time depending on the woman. You can still use the trackle contraceptive monitor immediately after stopping consumption to control your cycle.

    However, for a reliable evaluation (and also for forecasts for the next cycle), trackle needs a complete cycle (i.e. from the first day of menstruation to the first day of the next menstruation with ovulation measured and recognized by trackle in the middle). 

    If you have bleeding after stopping (= withdrawal bleeding), you can enter this bleeding as your first period in the trackle app.

  • Can I use the trackle monitor if I have short or restless nights?

  • Can I use trackle for birth control if I have thyroid disease?

    Thyroid hormones also influence the hormones of the cycle. Therefore, untreated thyroid disease can cause the menstrual cycle to be affected and ovulation not to occur, for example. 

    So if you don't have a cycle due to lack of thyroid hormones and you never ovulate then trackle can't be used.
