What personal data is collected?
Personal data is data that allows you to identify yourself (e.g., e-mail address, name, IP address, etc.).
When you install and use this app, you will collect the following personal information:
The recording takes place for the following purpose:
The e-mail address will be anonymized (“SHA512") and stored in the backend as a unique identifier for the connection to the app. The plain text version of the email address is stored exclusively on the mobile device and never transmitted. The collection of personal data by this app only takes place if we are legally entitled to do so or if you have expressly consented to the data collection in question.
Data collection in the context of the use of the app Personal data may be collected in the context of the use of the app, in particular in the following ways:
(1) You enter the data yourself (for example username and e-mail address).
(2) Your data will be collected automatically by our systems or our service providers (for example, analysis data).

Data that you enter yourself
If you create a profile in our app, the information stored in the profile will be saved in the app itself (e-mail address, see above). The temperature or other health information displayed in the app will not be saved in the app, but will be forwarded to our backend, where no connection to a personal date is possible. We will not share this information without your consent.
If you access our app, your usage behavior will be evaluated by the analysis tools we use in the event of a software defect. We use the service of Sentry (https://sentry.io/) for crash reports. Sentry does not store any personal data and stores all data in encrypted form. Here (https://sentry.io/security/) there is more information. Upon initial installation and commissioning of the app, your consent to use is requested. Of course you can revoke this consent at any time (please contact [email protected])
Codepush does not store any personal data, including an IP address.
Access rights of the app
The use of the trackle app does not require access to, for example, contacts, photos, videos, camera, microphone, etc. For information: the Android operating system needs permission to access location data to establish Bluetooth connections. Therefore, when installing the app is asked. These data are not read, used or stored by the trackle GmbH.
This app uses various cryptographic techniques for security and to protect the transmission of sensitive content, such as temperature data. The connection between the sensor and the app is protected by the Bluetooth LE protocol. The HTTP connection between the app and the backend is encrypted using the TLS procedure (TLS 1.2). In addition, the integrity of the transmitted data is protected by an asymmetric encryption method (public-private-key method: ECC). Digital signatures prevent the data that you transmit from being altered unnoticed (content, sequence, completeness). If you have further questions about the security measures, please contact [email protected] at any time.
Information, cancellation, blocking
At any time you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing as well as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For further information on personal data, please contact us at [email protected]
Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority
Please be aware that in the case of data protection violations, you have the right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority. As a rule, the supervisory authority responsible for data protection issues is the state data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is headquartered. A list of the data protection officers as well as their contact data can be taken from the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html
Contradiction advertising emails
The use of contact data published in the context of the imprint obligation for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby rejected. The operators of the app expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
